Madinat Makadi is a new and exciting year round golf & activity holiday destination on the west coast of the Red Sea, 30Km south of Hurghada International Airport, Egypt.Situated on Makadi Bay with a beautiful stretch of beach and a spectacular offshore house reef, the resort is spread across 600 acres and comprises a total of 11 hotels ranging from 4 to 5 stars. One of the major highlights of the resort is the Madinat Makadi 18-hole Par 72 Championship Golf Course, which is the longest in the region being 6880m/7500 yards in length. It also includes a 9-hole short course with par 27, which makes it strategically designed and built to USGA standards by course designer John Sanford. Golfing at Madinat Makadi is guaranteed to be a rewarding experience with the stunning views of the Red Sea, mountains, beautiful landscapes, and all-year-round sunshine.

The Golf Course is surrounded by residential units, lagoons, beautiful scenery and three salty water lakes coming from the beach wells. These lakes are connected by two cascades, which are considered as hazards well positioned and waiting any stray shots. With five of the 18 holes overlooking the Red Sea, three of them having a nice view of the lakes, the Golf Course is the perfect haven for golf lovers.
After you game, the Clubhouse complex provides breathtaking views of the golf course and beaches whilst golfers enjoy sipping on a cocktail or dining in the a la restaurant. The fully stocked Pro Shop is available and also offers other services including daily rental sets, club cars, trolleys or a caddy.

The golf academy has a reception, class rooms, changing rooms, a bistro bar and a sun terrace. Whether you are a professional player or you just want to have fun, the PGA professional coaches and instructors from the Golf Academy are at hand to assist you. The Driving Range offers about 80 t-boxes and contains target greens and bunkers, so even in peak season, it never feels too busy.
